About Me

Welcome to Take 2 Creative Designs! My name is Christine and I am the owner and designer of Take 2 Creative Designs. 

I have always been drawn to anything that enables me to be creative. There is something about starting out with a blank slate, a ball of yarn, or a lump of clay and creating a beautiful piece of art. Painting, pottery, knitting, crochet, jewelry making, vinyl, sublimation are just a few of my passions!

It wasn't until 2002 when my eldest child, then only 4 years old, was diagnosed with Leukemia that I considered turning my hobby into a dream. I began by creating handcrafted items to sell at events such as Relay for Life and other local craft fairs and markets. It was a way to not only raise funds to support childhood cancer research but to raise awareness. A dream was forming but I didn't have time for that dream back then, I was focused on seeing my family through our trial...which led to the miracle of a second chance!

Now, 21 years later, watching my son graduate college and my daughter studying to become a nurse, I realized it was time and Take 2 is a reality! Take a moment to look around my website.
